French Coconut Custard Pie

1 store-bought, unbaked pie crust
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 small can sweetened coconut
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon vinegar
optional:
1/2 cup semisweet mini-chocolate chips
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, melt butter and mix with other ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake for one hour.

If using chocolate and almonds - sprinkle mini-chocolate chips on unbaked pie crust. Then add a layer of slivered almonds. Pour mixture of other ingredients over almonds and bake for one hour.
