We Make House Calls!

Garden Design, Installation, Maintenance, and Potscaping

Garden Design, Installation, and Maintenance
2025 Was one of my most amazing years so far for landscaping design and install.  The year started with several townhouse redo of the front beds.  From there we did an entire house design and install.  Front, back, plus around a detached garage.  We did several more townhouse entrances.  At the end of the season I had the pleasure of doing a memorial garden.  This was the biggest job I have taken on so far.  There are pea gravel paths, a heart shape bed with a redbud tree, which has heart shape leaves, raised beds to veggie garden come summer as well as 800 + perennials was well as shurbs and trees.  Can I say, it turned out better then I imagined.  Are last job of the year was an entire back of a house with a bed around a bird house with bird friendly bushes.  I like lots of color and texture in my jobs, keeping in mind exposure and deer issues

A customer walked into Buckman's one day, her arms loaded with big, bulky, wrought-iron window boxes she'd brought from home. Buckman's Home & Garden owner, Julie DeFlavis, said to her, "Did you know I could also come to you?"

That was fifteen years ago, and since then, Julie has evolved her potscaping business to include garden design, installation, and maintenance. She will work with you through every aspect of the process, from initial consultation and conception, all the way through to installing a stunning garden you can enjoy for years to come.

Julie's resume includes designing and installing cutting gardens, foundation gardens, perennial gardens, and free-form gardens loaded with perennials, annuals, small trees, and shrubs that provide interest all year long. She has also maintained seasonal container gardens and beds for a number of local, Bucks County businesses. One customer wanted a walkway winding through her garden so Julie accompanied her to pick out and purchase the perfect hardscaping for her property.

Julie has been in business for over forty years, and, in that time, she has met and worked with countless contractors. Julie has a vast network to call upon to help bring your garden goals to fruition.
Whatever you envision, she can help make it happen.

Potscaping

Container gardens are a great way to give your patio, porch, or pool deck a splash of color. They also give your garden some variety and height. Whatever you are looking to do, we here at Buckman's are happy to help you from conception through design toward planting your pots. We pride ourselves on our creativity, as well as our ability to accommodate your needs and aesthetic, not to mention our incredible selection of annuals, perennials, herbs, and houseplants.  Either BYOP (Bring Your Own Pot) or peruse our extensive selection of concrete, ceramic, or terracotta. We would love to plant up your pots either here or save you the trip and plant them at your home.
