Red, White & Blue Jello Salad

1 3 oz package Berry Blue Jello
1 3 oz package Rasperry Jello
2 cups boiling water,divided
2-1/2 cups cold water, divided
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh raspberries
12 oz package Cool Whip
Optional:
1 3 oz package Vanilla Cook & Serve Jello Pudding
2 cups milk
In a bowl, dissolve the Berry Blue Jello gelatin in 1 cup boiling water; stir in 1 cup cold
water. Pour into a 3-qt. serving bowl or divide between clear plastic cups. Carefully add
blueberries. Refrigerate until firm, about one hour.
Once the blue layer is set, dissolve Raspberry Jello in a bowl with remaining 1 cup
boiling water; stir in remaining 1 cup cold water. Pour over a spoon over blue layer.
Pouring the Jello over a spoon prevents making a hole in the blue layer as you pour.
Add raspberries. Chill until set, approximately one more hour. Garnish with Cool Whip
and additional berries if desired.
Note: Another option is to add a middle layer of vanilla pudding. Prepare one 3 oz
package of Vanilla Cook & Serve Jello Pudding according to package directions (which
calls for 2 cups milk) and refrigerate until set. Once set, spoon over Berry Blue Jello
layer and top with Raspberry Jello layer by pouring over a spoon so as not to make a
hole in the pudding layer.
